Clasping small pebbles of the past to the arrows of the future has always been my work.
Not to slow them down or alter their movement, but to instil balance using experience.

In Rome, on 27 June 1917, Pirandello’s ‘Il berretto a sonagli’, in its Sicilian version, was staged for the first time at the Teatro Nazionale.
The ‘pupo’ described, encapsulates miles of descriptions concerning the ego, perceived, nurtured, shown.
In the society of the time, and especially in the Sicilian reality in which Pirandello lived, the social image had to be preserved practically at any cost.
The honour of the individual, of the family, drove a priori indefensible behaviour in today’s society.
Have we moved on? Definitely yes, only to merrily go backwards.
The computerised, connected and virtual society places the subject in the role of spectator, apparently well placed to follow reality, but in fact enclosed in a world from which only a small window allows a proper view.
The window or windows, also called Windows… do not allow
the subject to fully manifest itself.
This constraint, easily overcome in the case of exuberant qualities, from culture to physical prowess, constitutes an insurmountable obstacle for the lambda individual or simply in the lambda phase.
In some cases, the need for existence, for belonging, precipitates the subject into a para-reality called virtual, but in my opinion very real, since it is a privileged meeting place.
The web-consumer constructs a defensible self-image in this parallel world.
His very existence in that digital dimension is a source of support and well-being for his physical (and let us forget, spiritual) existence.
This process was very clear to the visionaries who wrote the Matrix in 1999.
To participate, it was necessary to exit (the real) and enter (the virtual).
Again, in light of today’s numbers, can we still call the virtual ‘unreal’?
No.
The circle closes, realising, if I may say so, ‘the ring of Girgenti’: the puppet, from pride becomes existence.
The progression of the virtual, of augmented or rather diminished reality, takes humanity towards an animal condition that will precede the annihilation of the body in the distant future.
The animal condition is perceived in the poverty of exchange proper to virtual society.
Attractive physiques focus the masses and awaken instincts. Cultural evolution does not reclaim the masses, but rather concentrates an elite.
When the break will be without return, the frozen, starched, disrespected body will lose all vein of poetry.
Girgenti and its surroundings were Pirandello’s places.
Let us turn off the phone and we will communicate.
Let us close the window and see.
Let us enjoy the wrinkles and we will live.
If existence is a race towards the Eternal, be careful not to get distracted, we could jump lower than expected.
